This web site was made possible through a Teaching American History Grant, funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Additionally, Mrs. Zima’s fifth grade students and Mrs. O’Keefe’s eighth grade students would like to thank the following people for making our project possible:

Mrs. Betty Kibbe, Chairperson of the Ludlow Historical Commission, who arranged the grade 5 field trip to the Meetinghouse, Mrs. Nancy Kavka and Mrs. Elsie Hiersche, who assisted with the field trip and provided some of their own artifacts, Mr. Ted Stevenson, who provided numerous photographs, documents, and other records from the Ludlow Manufacturing Associates, Mr. Bruce Fenney, for letting us borrow a map reproduction and a 1912 town history book, Mrs. Lorraine Boucher and Mr. Dennis Trembley, for technology help at school, Mr. Matthew Mattingly from The Center for Educational Software Development at UMASS, for the creation of the web site, and Ms. Meghan Gelardi and Mr. Rich Cairn, from the Hampshire Educational Collaborative in Northampton, for their guidance and sponsorship of the project.
